I moved up in a maths group

Last week I moved up in a maths group. I am so happy because I have been working very hard for this moment. I was in Helens math workshop but now i'm in Chris's one. I am now with a lot of people that are older than me including my older sister. Moving up in a maths group was very exiting but scary at the same time. I think that I fit in this maths group more than I did with Helen. What she was teaching us was to easy for me but now i'm in a more challenging group. I thought that I wasn't going to be smart enough to move up but I did because I worked hard for it. I did have to leave two of my friends behind but my education comes first is what my dad always says. I doesn't matter though because i'm with one of my other friends.

For Immersion today we switched groups. My group went to Felicatys Immersion. We talked about life cycles and plants. We did an activity where we had to sort out pictures that were living and that weren't living. Felicaty  gave us a game to try. Its very challenging. Stain removers

Today for immersion we got into groups of four and we had to bring in things that would stain things and we had to bring stain removers. I brought the lemon as a stain remover. As the stain we use food colouring . We had to put the food colouring  on a type of mateareil . The rest of my group brought the powdered detergent and the vinager . The detergent worked the best out of all of them. But all of them worked. It was really fun to experiment with them.

02/07/17 Today me and Paige did our summary for our project.  Bath bomb research Ingredients: 1 cup Citric acid ($2.80 1kg) 2 cups baking soda ($9.00 400g x3) 20-30 drops Essential oil ($3.00 750ml) Our summary Bath bombs are very relaxing to sit in. The bath bombs will make your skin very soft after your bath because it contains essential oil. When you put a bath bomb in the warm water a chemical reaction occurs. The citric acid and the warm water makes a reaction and makes the bath bomb very fizzy and colorful from the food coloring. It also smells nice if there is peppermint essence or vanilla essence. Bath bombs are also relaxing when you can see and smell the bath bomb. It is also really fun to look at.
